Custer Care provides Assisted Living, Adult Day Services, Home Care, and Transportation,
Our Journey
Custer Care, located in Central Nebraska, opened in 1991 as a free standing adult day care center in Broken Bow.
In 1999, we purchased a home in Broken Bow for Assisted Living with 5 rooms for assisted living. Adult day services continued to be provided at this new location.
In 2007, we purchased the present home at 1020 South 2nd Ave which provided us with additional 8 rooms for assisted living clients including rooms for Medicaid Waiver clients.
Due to the change in trends, we sold the first house to focus on Home Care Services. With this change, we now provide Adult Day Services at 1020 South 2nd Avenue. We also did some remodeling so all rooms qualify for Medicaid Waiver.
Transportation services are also available for clients to come to the Center for Adult Day Services. We also provide transportation services for medical appointments in central Nebraska.
