Transportation

Reliable, insured transportation for qualifying clients

Custer Care offers non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for eligible individuals in Central Nebraska who are approved through the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Medicaid transportation program.

Transportation services are provided only through DHHS Medicaid-contracted transportation brokers, including MTM, Inc. and Modivcare, and must be authorized and scheduled through those entities.

Please note:
We are not able to accept private-pay, Medicare, or other insurance plans for transportation services at this time. All rides must be approved and scheduled through an eligible DHHS Medicaid transportation broker.

Our Fleet

  • 3 wheelchair-accessible vans
  • Multiple standard vehicles for ambulatory riders
  • Clean, comfortable, and well-maintained
  • Driven by trained, caring staff

Who We Serve

Transportation may be arranged for:

  • Assisted Living residents
  • Adult Day Services clients
  • Home Care clients
  • Respite Care participants

Scheduling a Ride:

Transportation requests must be made through the appropriate Medicaid transportation broker (such as MTM or Modivcare), who will coordinate the trip with our transportation team once the ride is approved.
